In 8 years, Bridge has grown to a team of more than 60 people from nearly 20 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world.

JOB MISSION

The Senior Program Manager is a key operational leader supporting the Program Director to ensure excellence in program execution, design, and stakeholder management. 
This role plays a pivotal part in optimizing program implementation, supporting other program managers with technical expertise, and ensuring seamless coordination between 
internal teams, partners, and clients. The Senior Program Manager will take on a hands-on execution role, translating strategic plans into actionable results while strengthening 
operational processes. This role requires strategic vision, program development expertise, and strong leadership to oversee initiatives that impact donors, ESOs, and entrepreneurs.
This role will report to the Program Director in LATAM and be based in Guatemala City.


MAIN CONTRIBUTIONS

1. Strategic and Operational Consulting :

  • Assess and diagnose the current state of Bridge For Billions processes and projects in LATAM, particularly those being implemented in Guatemala.
  • Design and implement strategic and operational plans to improve the efficiency and impact of entrepreneurship projects in Guatemala.
  • Provide guidance on the application of innovative methodologies, entrepreneurship, and transformation within the projects.
  • Identify funding opportunities and strategic partnerships to strengthen project sustainability.
  • Provide recommendations based on data analysis and impact indicators to optimize project management and operations.
  • Develop consulting reports with key findings, risk analysis, and improvement proposals.
  • Facilitate training and advisory sessions with the Bridge For Billions team in Guatemala to strengthen the strategic and operational execution of current projects.

2. Lead and ensure the high-quality execution of entrepreneurship programs/projects and program managers

  • Provide strategic leadership to Program Managers, fostering accountability, professional growth, and alignment with client and business objectives.
  • Offer technical support, troubleshoot challenges, and oversee program/project implementation.
  • Design, refine, and implement operational frameworks, toolkits, and processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, impact, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, dashboard reviews, and asynchronous support to monitor program progress.
  • Act as a backup for program implementation when needed due to capacity constraints or team absences.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and peer learning among Program Managers to strengthen execution.
  • Guide program innovations, particularly for new or complex designs, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support procurement negotiations and reporting processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team to successfully execute program/project initiatives and scale impact.

3.  Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Managing client relationships, handling day-to-day interactions, and ensuring alignment with program/project expectations.
  • Lead client consulting engagements related to program/project design and implementation.
  • Play a key role in client negotiations, ensuring program/project scopes, timelines, and budgets meet both client needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Prepare for weekly reporting meeting to the client

4. Event Attendance: 

  • Attend entrepreneurial ecosystem in-person events in Guatemala.
  • Support the logistics and execution of events organized by Bridge For Billions.
  • Propose improvements and adjustments in event execution.
  • Analyse the success of in-person events with data and dashboards.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Hard and Soft skills we look for in this particular role: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, preferably in innovation or entrepreneurship projects.
  • Solid and verifiable knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in LATAM, especially in Guatemala.
  • Experience working directly with entrepreneurs and building relationships with them.
  • Experience in incubators, innovation enterprises, or social organizations (both for-profit and non-profit) in Guatemala is highly valued.
  • Experience leading people or teams.
  • Experience in the management or launch of innovation hubs, coworking spaces, or entrepreneurial communities is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective public relations.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Notion, Slack, and Google Drive, or a strong willingness to learn quickly. Good command of spreadsheets.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills, maintaining a friendly yet professional tone and conveying information efficiently.
  • A strong plus if you have experience as a facilitator, professor, or in similar roles where you have spoken in front of large audiences.

OFFER AND LOCATION

Transparent salaries and fair compensation structure, mid-range for the social sector:

  • Compensation: 25,000 USD per yea - 27,000 USD per year (gross salary) 
  • Location: Guatemala.

  • Employment Type: This is a full-time position.
  • Type of contract: Full time Contractor to Bridge for Billions PBC, our headquarters in the US (paid holidays)
