ROLE OVERVIEW
At Bridge for Billions, the People Operations Intern plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of day-to-day people operations. This position goes beyond administrative support — it’s about helping build a thriving workplace where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive team member who can juggle multiple priorities, stay organized, and bring a mindset of continuous improvement to everything they do. You’ll work closely with the People & Culture team and People Leaders to strengthen our systems, processes, and rituals that keep our purpose-driven organization running with clarity and care.
While this is an internship, we’re especially excited about candidates who see this as a first step toward a longer-term path in People & Culture — someone eager to learn, grow, and possibly continue building their career with us beyond the internship.
MAIN CONTRIBUTIONS
- People Administration (40%)
You’ll play a key role in keeping our People systems organized and running smoothly. Your attention to detail will help us create a reliable and seamless employee experience. Tasks include:
- Maintain and update employee records in internal databases (ERP, Google Drive) regarding hires, terminations, and other changes.
- Support the RLP (Prevención de Riesgos Laborales) process for the employees of the Spanish Sociedad Limitada, including keeping the database, organizing annual medical check-up appointments and supporting completion of mandatory training programs.
- Communicate with our external payroll and administration service regarding new hires, medical leaves, and departures.
- Support communication with universities and other external parties to provide the adequate documentation of new interns.
- Support updating our Internal Information System.
- Manage and keep updated our employee contracts via our ERP system and ensure proper storage in the system.
2. People Operations Processes (20%)
You’ll help us run lean and effective People Ops systems that support a growing, hybrid team. This is a great space to build operational thinking while creating great employee experiences.
- Manage laptop stock control and renting needs, ensuring that new Bridgers sign agreements when receiving or returning laptops. Oversee and optimize the Notion internal database, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the creation of People-related presentations for internal use in company meetings.
- Assist in People analytics, data analysis, and optimizing HR processes for greater efficiency.
3. Madrid Office & Team Events (20%)
You’ll help keep our Madrid office running smoothly and contribute to creating great in-person experiences for the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and update the onboarding agenda, ensuring that new hires have a structured and engaging start.Supporting the planning and logistics of People & Culture-related events held in the Madrid office.
- Assisting with the coordination of our annual Summer Retreat, including vendor research, travel planning, and on-site logistics.
- Managing basic office needs such as:
- Coordinating with cleaning and maintenance services
- Gathering and comparing quotes for small repairs or improvements
- Ordering snacks, office supplies, and cleaning products
4. Onboarding Coordination (20%)
You’ll help create a warm, structured, and values-aligned welcome for new Bridgers, setting the tone for their journey with us.
- Maintain and update the onboarding agenda, ensuring that new hires have a structured and engaging start
- Book onboarding sessions and ensure proper communication with new hires through internal channels
- Share onboarding updates and announcements via internal communication channels
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED

OFFER AND LOCATION
Duration: 6 months | Location: Madrid, Spain | Contract Type: Full time- Internship
- Internship stipend of 700 EUR/month.
