In 8 years, Bridge has grown to a team of more than 60 people from nearly 20 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world.

JOB MISSION

The Senior Program Manager is a key operational leader supporting the Program Director to ensure excellence in program execution, design, and stakeholder management. This role plays a pivotal part in optimizing program implementation, supporting other program managers with technical expertise, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, partners, and clients. The Senior Program Manager will take on a hands-on execution role, translating strategic plans into actionable results while strengthening operational processes. This role requires strategic vision, program development expertise, and strong leadership to oversee initiatives that impact donors, ESOs, and entrepreneurs. This role will report to the Program Director and be based in Madrid, Spain.


MAIN CONTRIBUTIONS

1. Lead and ensure the high-quality execution of entrepreneurship programs and program managers

  • Provide strategic leadership to Program Managers, fostering accountability, professional growth, and alignment with client and business objectives.
  • Offer technical support, troubleshoot challenges, and oversee program implementation.
  • Design, refine, and implement operational frameworks, toolkits, and processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, impact, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, dashboard reviews, and asynchronous support to monitor program progress.
  • Act as a backup for program implementation when needed due to capacity constraints or team absences.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and peer learning among Program Managers to strengthen execution.
  • Guide program innovations, particularly for new or complex designs, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support procurement negotiations and reporting processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team to successfully execute program initiatives and scale impact.

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Managing client relationships, handling day-to-day interactions, and ensuring alignment with program expectations.
  • Lead client consulting engagements related to program design and implementation.
  • Play a key role in client negotiations, ensuring program scopes, timelines, and budgets meet both client needs and organizational capabilities.

3.  Program Design & Strategic Implementation

  • Contribute to the design and structuring of new and existing programs, ensuring alignment with entrepreneurship best practices and program needs.
  • Ensure program methodologies remain innovative and technically sound, incorporating insights from past implementations.
  • Support the Program Director in defining strategic priorities linked to program execution and impact measurement.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring program learnings contribute to broader organizational strategy and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational improvements.

4.  Cross functional Collaboration

  • May advise PMs on how to address matters with other apartments and may be a focal point for innovations with those departments.
  • Ensure a strong internal feedback loop, consolidating program insights for continuous learning and strategic adjustments.



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED


Hard and Soft skills we look for in this particular role: 

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, International Development, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in program management, entrepreneurship, or business consulting.
  • Experience in managing large-scale entrepreneurship programs or impact-driven initiatives.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, program budgeting, and impact measurement.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing entrepreneurial support program, demonstrating a solid knowledge of startup development, venture funding, and innovation trends.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.Ability to develop program strategies, risk mitigation plans, and performance tracking systems.
  • Soft Skills & Leadership:
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in client relationship management.
    • Great consultative skills.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a strategic mindset.
    • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments with high adaptability.
  • Languages & Regional Expertise:
    • Fluent in Spanish and English (additional European languages are a plus).
  • Bonus: Deep knowledge of the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem and experience working internationally.

OFFER AND LOCATION

Transparent salaries and fair compensation structure, mid-range for the social sector:

  • Compensation: Annual salary ranging from €30,000 - €33,000 (gross salary)
  • Benefits Package: Includes health insurance through Alan and a flexible benefits program with Cobee, which covers expenses from meals to childcare and training.
  • Location: Madrid or someone who is open to relocating to this vibrant city.
