Talent Development Director

Madrid, Spain

ABOUT US

Bridge for Billions is a global social enterprise on a mission to build more inclusive and sustainable economies through early-stage entrepreneurship. We design and run incubation programs for entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and collaborate with local partners to strengthen ecosystems. We believe in fostering local innovation to create jobs, solutions for all, and a more prosperous world.

First, an important note

Data shows that men on average apply for a role if they meet 70% requirements while women often only do so if they meet 100%. We work hard to be clear and specific about what our roles include and encourage you to apply if you see a strong (but not necessarily perfect) fit between you and the opportunity.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about nurturing leaders and building values-aligned cultures? Join Bridge for Billions as our Talent Development Director and shape how we grow, as individuals, teams, and a global purpose-driven organization.

You’ll lead the growth and development of internal talent at Bridge for Billions — a fast-growing, impact-driven social enterprise. Over the past decade, we’ve evolved into a team of 50+ people from more than 20 nationalities, working from Madrid, regional offices, and remotely across Latin America, Africa, and Europe.

Your mission will be twofold. First, to support and develop our People Leaders as they grow into confident, values-aligned leaders capable of building high-performing teams. Second, to steward our People Experience (PX) vision and roadmap, ensuring it reflects our culture, supports our strategic goals, and addresses the real needs of the organization and our team.

Through a blend of coaching, service design, and strategic leadership, you’ll help embed the practices and rituals that enable our people to grow and our culture to evolve intentionally.

This is a strategic and cross-functional role at the heart of our organization’s development. You’ll be the most senior talent role at Bridge for Billions and work closely with the leadership team, the Head of Engagement, and People Leaders across all departments to ensure we grow thoughtfully — with clarity, care, and purpose. You’ll manage one People Ops Manager, collaborate with our external Talent Acquisition Manager, and occasionally oversee freelancers. You’ll report to our Head of Engagement and co-founder to embed talent strategy across the organization.

We’ve grown quickly, and our culture has evolved organically. Now we’re entering a phase of more intentional design: clearer leadership expectations, scalable learning systems, and aligned rituals across functions and regions. Your north star is to help Bridge for Billions mature as an organization — strengthening our leadership and systems — while preserving the spirit and values that make us who we are.
